Welcome to Hope, Health & Humor, at-home edition! In years past our Hope, Health and Humor event has been an evening where women gather to be inspired and learn about what it means to take care of our own heart. We could not have imagined what 2020 would bring for us, but with all that is going on in our world we know a large, in-person gathering this year isn’t feasible.
Research shows women with strong female friendships live longer, are healthier, and happier. Our hope is for you to invite a few special women over to your patio to celebrate these invaluable relationships. To simplify your party plans, we’ve created an app for you and your guests. When it comes to heart disease, women continue to be understudied, underdiagnosed, and undertreated. Heart Disease is the number one killer of women. Heart disease kills more women than all forms of cancer, Alzheimer’s, and respiratory diseases combined. Our hope in creating the Penny Anderson Women’s Cardiovascular Center is to change this reality!
In order to do this, it’s imperative for us to spread the word! By hosting a Hope, Health & Humor – at home edition party, you can help educate your friends on their heart health and help us raise awareness of the #ResearchHer movement.
While we would like nothing more than to be together, we will be with you in spirit as you raise a glass to celebrate and toast all the amazing women in your life: Here’s to girlfriends...during difficult times, they always deliver a most needed dose of Hope, Health, and Humor!
Cheers to you and your fabulous friends!
